Step-by-Step Instructions
- Trim dotted paper to 6-3/4” x 12” and mount to right hand side of 12” x 12” white CS. Using flowers from Escape stamp set, randomly stamp flower pattern on
left side of paper leaving room to add hot, hot, hot words in between stamping. For ink, I used Whispers’ green lead, azure seas, sage, butterscotch, straw mat
and whipser blue for flowers. Stamp “hot” several times using Whispers’ butterscotch and orange ink (alternating colors). Tip: Stamp all of one color leaving enough
space in between to fit stamping, clean stamp, then change color of inks and fill in the gaps.
- Cut 14“ strip of striped ribbon and glue in place using either Glue Arts’ Crop & Glue lines or Glue Rings permanent adhesive.
- Cut photo mats from coordinating Cabana cardstock. Frame larger photo again with solid aqua CS. Mark placement of photo frames and mats lightly in pencil on your
layout. Mount large photo frame, followed by smaller mat, secondary photo, then close up photo on top — all using glue rings adhesive. Attach Sufer girl and circle
hibiscus stickers from self-adhesive Cabana Collection Cardstock stickers.
- Stamp “Surfer” in green leaf ink using alphabet letters from See-D’s Enthusiastic Upper Clear Stamps. Stamp “Style” from See-D’s Mini Fantasy Words set in Azure Seas
ink. Next stamp floral embellishments to the right of it. Add shadow highlights using Sakura Gelly Roll Metallic pens in similar shades of ink.
- Attach brads to Prima flowers. Using Glue Arts High Tack square and your fingertip, roll adhesive and affix to back of flower. On larger flowers, you may want to use
several to attach to layout.
- Attach larger felt flowers and surfboard felt image using high tack micro squares attached directly to the paper.
- Cut 2” x 3-1/2” piece of aqua CS. Glue strip of lime plaid ribbon across top of journaling piece and clip floral tab from Making Memories on top. Add Cabana
card stock sticker, journaling, rough sketched lines and attach on an angle to layout.
